About Us

The Silver End Heritage Society was set up as a direct result of the findings of the consultation conducted in summer and autumn 2009 and included in the Parish Plan published 2011. The survey showed that residents are proud of the village heritage, and the ideals of the Crittall family, and want projects to promote the history of Silver End.

The society was formed by people who care about Silver End, and its heritage, and want to record and promote its international architectural importance and its social and industrial history. It holds events throughout the year including talks, discussions and illustrated presentations.
